Tourist Attraction Deogarh

Deogarh Mahal - Constructed on the top of hill this seventeenth century palace offers enchanting view of Aravalli mountain ranges and several lakes. Such a magnificent palace is well graced with stunning courtyard, turrets, Jharokahs, domes, resident rooms and huge Gateways. The Mahal was built by Rawat Dwaraka Dasji as residence and descendents of Chundawat family still inhabit in the fort area. The proud owners of this authentic historical building have converted some part of palace into heritage hotel three years ago.

Dashavatar Temple - Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Dashavatar Temple is one of the oldest stone made temple which is still surviving. Gupta architecture was on its peak when the temple was built around 500 AD. Constructed from stone and brick in a form of single cubical sanctum so, that area can be provided for allocation of images. Numerous statues of Lord Vishnu are carved at exteriors and interiors of temple. Dashavatar Temple depicts all the incarnations of Lord Vishnu and act as good source for examining the art and sculptures of Gupta Period.
