    Elephant Orphanage - Started in 1975 to house the abandoned and wounded elephants; the orphanage has grown to be a big family today and provides visitors with the best chance of seeing a large number of elephants at close range. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their calf’s born in the same location. The great attraction is to visit at the feeding time (09:15am & 13:15am) to see the baby elephants being bottle fed and the entire herd taken for a bath thereafter to the river nearby. A unique experience never to be missed,
    Kandy- was the last kingdom of Sri Lanka and it’s recognized as a world Heritage Site by the United Nations. The name 'Kandy' conjures visions of splendour and magnificence. When you are in Kandy, you can go to the world famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and see the religious activities followed by a visit to the museum. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive in this city. Also Kandy is the venue of the annual Temple Perahera (pageant). The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism’s influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple’s shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.

  • Day 2Kandy - Tea Plantation - Nuwara eliya - (85Km 02 Hrs 30 Minutes Drive)

    After breakfast commence city tour of Kandy, start with visiting Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Later drive around the Kandy Lake including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square to visit the bazaar, arts & crafts centre and the Gem museum. Later travel to Nuwara eliya hill station, on the way visit the Botanical Garden at Peradeniya, and then visit a Tea factory and a Tea Garden, Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple as well as a water fall at Ramboda.     Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha’s Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orison princess’ hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka’s most prized possession.
    Royal Botanical Gardens- Peradeniya, Sixty Seven hectares of exquisite beauty and botanical treasurers containing more than 4000 species, this is haven not only for Scientists but to every nature lover as well. It was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and then was expanded by the British during the Colonial times. It is a walker’s paradise with extensive well-kept lawns, pavilions, an octagon conservatory, fernery, a giant Javan fig tree and numerous flower beds.     Tea Factory and Garden- Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. You can also buy fresh Tea if you prefer.
    Nuwara Eliya - The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort and supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, and is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen ann style mansions. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea production, producing a significant share of the world's best tea. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8,282 feet) is also located here and the city is renowned for having one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia.

    * Kithulgala- is a small town in the west of Sri Lanka famous for white water rafting. The Kelani River (the second broadest river in Sri Lanka) flows through Kithulgala, and it was the main location where the Oscar winning movie 'The Bridge over the River Kwai' was filmed. On the hill above this town, a prehistoric cave was recently discovered containing skeletal remains from some unknown civilization.
    Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its own phase. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. Drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area where you can shop for bargain, a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749, the historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. You can be highly entertained by the blend of unique bazaar style pedestrian stalls, barrow boys, branded outlets and a number of dramatic and awe-inspiring religious monuments.

Travelers traveling with us are also required to pay the total amount of air/train tickets that have to be issued by our firm. Once the payment is received by us, our operational staff would book your tickets, make your hotel bookings and also arrange several other requirements for the tour. Once everything is done, we will send you a confirmation after which passengers have to pay another 30% of the total amount. The rest 50% of the total tour cost can be paid through traveler's cheques upon your arrival in India. Payment can also be done through bank transfer a fortnight before you arrive.
After you have deposited the advance payment you would be informed or updated about the arrangements for the tour. All the updates are on a regular basis.

Our company does not encourage alterations in the travel arrangements. However, we would always try our best to grasp the changes (subject to the accessibility of the vivid segments of the trip as per your new needs and requirements). Our company deeply regrets of the cancellation of the tour, however, there are several suitable reasons which might come in the way of the cancellation. Refund Policy
1 50% of the advance is refunded for cancellation 30 days former the arrival.
2 25% of the advance is refunded for cancellation between 30 to 15 days prior to arrival.
3 No refund is available for cancellation 7 days former the arrival.
4 We Refund The Payment The Same Way As Clients Pay Us.
5 We Refund the payment after cancellation within one week.
6 No refunds for flight tickets.
7 Palace on Wheels and other convenient trains are not refundable.
